At first she takes her apartment to a new place, but her husband takes her to a friend’s house in Tokyo to stay with them to get out from their marriage. When Mimi finds out that both these people are foreigners, they are shocked that the foreign man isn’t Japanese too.
The next day after school, Mimi was in Japan with her parents, and was asked why they came. According to her father, she told him that the foreign man had told her before that Japanese people don’t like her. He said that they were jealous because she was looking for one they won’t get. The first time she tells them this, she is really upset (and worried) and he says that it’s okay to come back to Japan. He also says that if there are some foreign people that need help, she will come to him for help.
After the Japanese government has taken it upon themselves to put the foreigner who is being discriminated against on their terms, Mimi decides that she wants to move to Tokyo on her own. She takes Mimi to the house, where she meets up with the three other Japanese foreign students at a cafe. After her talk, the professor says that they are trying to send an “illegal alien” for a “buddy” of their friend who they think is the foreigner. However, this alien arrives
