There’s a lot of arguments in the history of history, and I think it may be interesting to think about the American economy that has been made so dramatically different by this Fed, particularly in terms of taxation. And my question is, are we prepared to give up on that to the Federal Reserve? The Federal Reserve now makes up half of the economy, so I don’t think we are ready to give up on that. But I’m sure

They’re saying: ‘Rothbard said you have to use your intellect for this kind of stuff because you’re going to be one hundred percent against it.’ So even though they were part of a group, it was an effort by that group to go to the Federal Reserve and attack the Fed. They had an ideological attack against the Federal Reserve. They thought the Fed was not going to go down as a monetary institution and it would be a socialist thing. I think they’d say: ‘There has to be some radicalism in it.’
